Taekwondo sessions

Here is what you can expect!

We start the class with a light warm up and stretching exercises. Flexibility is a crucial aspect of taekwondo.

Then we move on to fitness exercises; the main aim is to increase stamina and explosiveness.

During the main part of our training, we learn how to perform strong and efficient kicks and punches.

At last, we finish with some light sparring (non-contact for beginners or with contact for those students who are preparing for competitions). This is the fun part, where you get the chance to put in to practice everything you have learnt in training.

Adults and children train separate. Every week there are two training sessions for adults and two sessions for children.

Child classes

Monday:

Chelsea, Morley College – Carlyle gym

  • 17:15 to 17:45 (5 years to 7 years)
  • 17:45 to 18:30 (7+ years)
  • 18:30 to 19:30 (advanced)

Thursday:

Chelsea, Morley College – Carlyle gym

  • 17:45 to 18:30 (7+ years)
